Sent with Love is our love letter to folks who need a little comfort and care in their lives.

Organized by Graphic Anthology's founder Genesis Duncan and passionate community builder and fellow Portlander, Meredith Lockwood, Sent with Love is a community-driven group of stationery lovers that get together a few times a year to write correspondence to nominated senior citizens.

We partner with Ohio-based nonprofit Love for Our Elders, who coordinate a list of nominated senior citizens all around the United States (and sometimes worldwide). We gather together and send encouraging notes to these folks, writing to end loneliness one card at a time. We've heard and seen the impact of these monthly letter requests! Many of these seniors receive hundreds of letters from folks all across the country.

Our Sent with Love events are family friendly!

We provide the greeting cards, envelopes, and stamps for each event. All you need to do is show up at one of our events and write with us!

Not local to Portland, but want to participate? We encourage you to visit the Love for Our Elders website and choose a senior to write to wherever you are. Each letter request comes with a short bio about the senior, giving you some information about their lives and why they could use encouragement.

Let’s use the power of snail mail to put some joy out into the world! 🌟
